There she is. The USS Abraham Lincoln docked Friday morning after training at sea near Los Angeles.
Spokesman Lt. Cmdr. Steve Curry says 45,000 folks visited the ship during Navy week. Sailors did community projects in the area, saw a Dodgers baseball game and attended the taping of “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno.
Curry says it should be in port for a month before heading out for more exercises at sea.
