SEATTLE — SEATTLE — The King County medical examiner’s office has identified a young man killed in a fall near Snoqualmie Pass.
He was William Allen, 21, of Puyallup.
University of Washington spokesman Bob Roseth said the young man was a UW student and a member of the crew team.
Authorities say he fell about 150 feet Monday while climbing at Kaleetan Peak northwest of the pass.
Snoqualmie Pass Fire and Rescue Deputy Chief Matt Cowan called the area “extremely treacherous terrain.”
