EVERETT — A repaving project will require the full closure of the westbound U.S. 2 trestle for six weekends this summer.
The state Department of Transportation has announced tentative closure dates: May 18-20, June 1-3, June 22-24, June 29-July 1, July 13-15 and July 20-22.
This work is weather-dependent, and closures could be rescheduled.
Meanwhile, overnight single-lane closures are scheduled to start Monday. The overnight lane reductions are Monday through Thursday nights for at least the next three weeks. All lanes should reopen by 4 a.m. each morning.
