In response to the “B.C. speeding law a bitter lesson” letter bemoaning Canada’s speeding laws, speeding 24 mph over the speed limit would result in 49 mph in a residential zone and 94 mph on the open highway.
I would suggest the blame not rest on the British Columbia government but squarely on the man’s adult son who should have known better than to go 24 mph over the posted speed limit.
