Bonus, baby

Mad money: Boeing Machinists, who narrowly approved a contract extension to ensure the 777x will be built in Everett, will get their $10,000 bonuses later this month.

Depending on how union members feel about the vote, the bonus can go toward a new car, a vacation or 30 pieces of silver.

The highway’s jammed with broken heroes: New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie apologized for traffic jams outside Fort Lee, N.J., created by aides as political revenge. Christie has denied knowledge of the plot and fired one staffer.

Christie, R-HOV Lane, had planned to go to Fort Lee to personally apologize, but was turned back by heavy traffic.

I’ll take Promotions for $300, Alex: Watson, the “Jeopardy”-winning supercomputer, is moving to Manhattan, where IBM will invest $1 billion to build Watson its own division, which will develop Watson-based apps.

It’s not the only big news for Watson, who, according to the New York Times engagement announcements, will wed Siri, who works for Apple. The couple are registered at the Crate &Barrel website.
