Bring Herald readers more Parker, Saunders columns

Just less than a year ago I canceled by subscription to the Seattle Times (except for its SWunday edition) mainly because of the leftwing bias I had aobserved on its editorial pages.

I switched to The Herld because at that time, in fact, up until fairly recently, the opinions expressed on your opinion pages respresented the entire political spectrum from left to right.

However, that has not been the case for the past week or so. The sensible columns of right-of-center Debra Saunders and “self-styled moderate” Kathleen Parker have been conspicuously absent. Thsi right-of-center Republicans (I guess you would call me a McCainite) is sick and tire of the liberal B.S. dished out by the likes of Misters Schwab, Robinson, Milbank, Burke, et. al. In fact this is “fake news” at its worst.

Unless you return your previous balance and bring back the writings of Ms. Parker and/or Ms. Saunders, I will very seriously consider canceling my subscription to The Herald and turning to Fox News for my news.

Editor’s note: Neither Debra J. Saunders nor Kathleen Parker have been dropped from the pages of The Herald or the HeraldNet website. Both columns remain in the mix of writers that we offer to our readers. We also hope Mr. Parker and others have also noticed the recent addition of Washington Post columnist Megan McArdle, who also writes from a conservative to moderate viewpoint, to our pages.
