Economic health tied to education

We have been living in the Monroe School District since 1976. When we decided to make the Monroe area our home, we had two preschool children. When our children were ready to start school, we were grateful for the support that longtime residents of the Monroe School District had given our schools and we, too, became strong supporters of our school district. After our children finished their K through 12th education in 1994, we continued that support.

Although we believe the school district has done an above average job maintaining our existing school facilities, age becomes a factor and remodeling or replacement becomes a necessity.

The economic health of a community is tied directly to the quality of education that it provides to its children and we believe our investment in that success is essential.

We are going to vote yes on the upcoming bond and we urge your support.
