In response, Hootenanny fans Ole and Lena Olafson of Stanwood have sent the Grand Ole Opry a cease-and-desist letter claiming violation of trademark and mispronunciation of Ole’s name.

No rough stuff now: The Everett School board met Thursday after Tuesday night’s scuffle that ended with police taking statements. Meanwhile, across town, the Everett Silvertips hockey team began training camp.
