Perhaps you have already decided who is going to be receiving your vote. I am sure you came to your decision after weighing the pros and cons of that particular job and the person who is applying for that job.
Have they shown an aptitude for these duties? What are they bringing to the office? How do their plans for the present and future look to you? Are they reasonable, and more importantly achievable? How does the candidate conduct himself or herself in the face of adversity? How do they handle the embarrassing aftermath of a mistake? Is the candidate a team player and, if so, for what team?
If you have had these questions answered to your satisfaction, it does not matter who you are voting for. A vote used after careful deliberation is never wasted.
