County detectives are looking for anyone who may have seen Friday’s carjackings and high-speed chase between Lake Stevens and Everett.
They’re trying to build their case against the alleged bad guys, but mostly they’re still in disbelief that anyone went more than 20 mph around here at rush hour on a Friday afternoon.
What a dope. The rider who looked poised to win the Tour de France was yanked out of the race for violating team rules. He was conveniently absent on days when there were drug tests, and the team noticed his bulging forehead and thickets of hair on his hands.
The news comes a day after one of his top competitors got busted for doping and a year after the winner flunked a steroid test. At the rate things are going, they’ll have to stop the race every mile for drug tests and call it the Pee de France.
Unlike the cyclists, Lindsay Lohan has never been accused of taking performance enhancing drugs — unless it’s a competition to see who can talk the fastest.
She’s strictly into the recreational variety, but says the cocaine found in her pocket wasn’t hers. It’s all part of step 13 in her 12-step rehab program — rinse and repeat.
