The U.S. Postal Service’s plan to end Saturday mail delivery (above) is good news for Netflix, which will be able to further cut its costs and steer customers to its less-robust streaming service.

The post office’s news was timely, as it’s been a while since Netflix alienated its customers by raising prices and cutting options.

By the numbers: Mathematicians at a Missouri college have identified the world’s largest prime number, which contains 17 million digits.

Actually, 17 million digits aren’t nearly adequate to quantify the number of Americans who have forgotten what a prime number is.

Big talker: Plus-size New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie had harsh words Wednesday for a physician who told CNN she worries Christie, a 2016 presidential possibility, will die in office because of his weight.

Insert your own joke here about the number of digits displayed by Christie’s bathroom scale.

Oh, by the way: Prime numbers are whole numbers such as 3, 7 and 11 that can only be divided without a remainder by themselves and 1.
