As I was coming home across Idaho late last week I was drawn to the front-page article in the Coeur d’Alene Press, titled, “Steal a sign, commit a crime.” Coeur d’Alene’s Deborah Rose said, “All I want to do is serve my community and share my skills and knowledge.” Ten of her signs had been stolen.
The attack our our mayoral candidate, Karen Guzak, has been relentless and vicious. Signs have been stolen or defaced every day.
We have the chance to continue to enhance our city with Karen Guzak. We have the chance to maintain the quality of life that we have enjoyed and taken for granted.
Look at what has happened to Monroe and Marysville where it seems that liming the pockets of developers is more important than keeping the character and history of their towns intact. We have the chance to retain and encourage a stronger community with the positive and articulate voice of Karen Guzak. Your vote counts. Remember the power of your ballot.
