Tuning in to all the news coverage about the possible mismarking of ballots cast in Florida has me thinking of a related problem. Wednesday, when I picked my Lotto numbers, the light in the store was bad and I was very rushed. It is possible that I may have picked the wrong numbers. I think I should be able to re-pick my Lotto numbers for Wednesday’s drawing. I’m sure that I would be more careful to pick the right numbers.
Regarding the election, it would become both candidates (and their respective party leadership) to stop the “woulda, coulda, shoulda” second-guessing, abide by the results of the recount (no matter how close, or which way it goes), and get on with the business of presidential transition.
