Come Halloween night, expect to see lots of Harry Potters, Transformers and other costumes inspired by toys, movies and TV.
If you’re looking for something a little more original, here are few ideas from today’s news:
A FutalognkoÂsaurus dukei. The dinosaur, one of the largest specimens
ever found, has a name only slightly shorter than its body, which would have been about 105 feet long, scientists say.
Filling up a costume that big would take 80 or 90 kids, which means they could probably bring home a Guinness World Record in addition to their buckets of candy.
A Nobel Prize winner. You could, for instance, go as one of three U.S. economists who won the prize for their research into how people’s behavior in certain situations is affected by knowledge and self-interest.
While you’re explaining all that to the person who answers the door, it would be in your self-interest to grab some extra sweets.
An Airbus A380. At long last, the company delivered the first of the new jets Monday, but the long-delayed, problem-plagued superjumbo is probably still the scariest thing Airbus officials could see on Halloween.
