Trump voters see country the same American way

Regarding Mike Mitchell’s commentary “What a Trump voter wants to say” in the April 6 Herald: Thank you, thank you, Mike for your brilliant commentary. It hit the nail on the head.

Thank you and your entire family for military service. Most of our generation (baby boomers) see this country the same way, I believe: The American Way, work hard and be true to your family, country and God.

We could go into the fact our country has the lowest unemployment in history or the stock market is at its highest or we are no longer are being taken for granted around this world. If these facts are not enough, now about our southern border? Our last three presidents did nothing to curb the influx of illegal immigrants. Sanctuary cities, high tax states, even the thought of allowing illegals to vote in local elections is just the beginning. Make people dependent on the government, then you make their vote totally dependent on you.

I don’t mind being called all those things because it just shows their ignorance and single mindlessness.
