At one time, very recently, the United States’ democracy was looked on by free nations around the world as the model for freedom, prosperity and peace. Now, recently, there are questions about the direction the United States is headed in.
Many of our citizens and lawmakers seem to be siding with Russia’s leader, Vladimir Putin, which puts the democracies of the world at risk in any decisions they make for democracy, leaving them wondering if they will be supported in any decisions they choose for democracy and if the United States will support them as they resist communist aggressors while protecting themselves against a loss of freedoms.
Please don’t let our great democracy fail.
We must remain the beacon on the hill.
