Arrogance in Olympia reigns supreme. State government is too bloated and costs too much. It was expanded based on income from an overextended, excess credit economy not likely to return for decades, if ever. If government could solve the problem they could just hire everybody or pay everybody unemployment forever. We could all be police officers, firemen, teachers, administrators, bureaucrats, legislators, special interest advocates and all the other vested interests that suck at the public trough. Oh, wait, somebody has to actually produce some product or service someone wants to buy.
Who knew?
Chopp, Brown, Gregoire, get a grip. You’re really not that important! You’re a stumbling block. Get out of the way. Whatever percent we are short — cut. That’s what every Washington family and business has had to do. You’re really not that special and we will do just fine if you’re not re-elected.
