Lake Stevens | Football

Vikings quarterback Jacob Eason completed 37 of 50 passes for 507 yards and six touchdowns in the Vikings’ 53-49 victory over Edmonds-Woodway in the 4A Wesco championship game.

Marysville Getchell | Girls Soccer

The Weikel sisters each scored a goal the help the Chargers best Mountlake Terrace 2-1 in a first-round game at the 3A District 1 tournament for the school’s first playoff win in any sport. The two sisters also each had a goal in a win over rival Marysville Pilchuck earlier in the week.

Lake Stevens | Volleyball

The Vikings outside hitter had 25 kills, eight digs and was 11-for-12 serving to lead Lake Stevens to a first-round four-set win over Kamiak in the first round of the 4A District 1 Tournament.

Jackson | Boys Tennis

The Timberwolves No. 1 singles player battled the wind and triumphed over Cascade’s Patrick Chung to win the 4A District 1 singles championship. It was Chung’s first loss of the season.

Lakewood | Boys Cross Country

The Cougars harrier took fourth place to lead Lakewood to a first-place finish at the 2A District 1/2 meet on Saturday.

Mountlake Terrace | Girls Cross Country

The Hawks runner finished less than a second before Glacier Peak’s Heidi Smith in the girls race as Mountlake Terrace to a second-place finish at the 3A District 1 meet on Saturday.
