Huskies announce their 2019 football schedule

The annual Apple Cup is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 29

Herald new services

The University of Washington will open its 2019 football season with three consecutive home games.

The Huskies announced their schedule Tuesday.

Washington opens the season Aug. 31 against Eastern Washington and plays its Pac-12 opener a week later against California. A non-conference game against Hawaii on Sept. 14 closes out the season-opening homestand.

The Huskies’ first road game is Sept. 21 at BYU.

Washington has two Friday games next season: Nov. 8 at Oregon State, and Nov. 29 at home against Washington State in the annual Apple Cup.

Here’s the complete schedule, with home games in bold caps:

Sept. 7: CALIFORNIA

Sept. 14: HAWAII

Sept. 21: at BYU

Sept. 28: USC

Oct. 5: at Stanford

Oct. 12: at Arizona
