The Huskies finally held onto the ball on that drive, and the payoff was a 14-yard Jake Locker touchdown run. So far this quarter, the UW offense has looked really good (you know, aside from the two turnovers) gaining 183 yards on three drives. Locker has been spectacular (again, aside from the turnover) passing for 86 yards and rushing for 70 on eight carries.
It’s worth noting that Byron Davenport, who was beat deep twice on Arizona’s last drive (one of them was dropped), has been replaced by Vonzell McDowell.
