Lake Chelan is putting out some pretty good kokanee fishing, according to Anton Jones of Darrell &Dad’s Family Guide Service in Chelan.
The big lake’s lower basin is the place to be, trolling Mac’s Mini Cha Cha Squidders in orange or pink on a short leader behind Mac’s Double D dodgers in sizes 00 to 0000. Bait the Mini Cha Chas with Pautzke’s Fire Corn in natural, pink or yellow. Best depth recently has been 20 to 70 feet, Jones said.
