Mariner senior Suzy Pace signed last Wednesday to continue her track and field career at Washington State University, according to Mariner athletic director Kyle Axelson.
As of Monday afternoon, Pace was tied for sixth in the Class 4A girls state high-jump rankings this season with a top mark of 5 feet, 4 inches. She also was seventh in the 300-meter hurdles (46.55 seconds) and 12th in the 100 hurdles (15.41).
Pace qualified for the 4A state meet in all three events last season, placing fifth in the high jump and sixth in the 300 hurdles.
