Notes from the 4H building

Last night I attended the driver registration and info meeting for the 2008 season at Evergreen Speedway. Two quick items:

1. Evergreen’s 2008 schedule has been published and I’ve put it up on the main auto racing page.

2. My notes from the meeting are included under the “local racing” section. For all of you that I talked to but didn’t write about, don’t worry, your day will come.

I had a blast talking to the drivers, owners crew members and assorted family members at the meeting, which was held at the Fairgrounds in the 4H building.

I even got to talk on the radio, thanks to Steve Mortland, Carla Heath and Gaylon Stewart of the Northsound Racing show on KRKO (1380 AM).

Too bad we have to wait about a month for the local racing to begin.
