Prep baseball: Shorewood 10, Marysville Getchell 0 (5)

SHORELINE — Jacob Bockelie had two hits and drove in four runs as Shorewood beat Marysville Getchell in an opening-round game at the 3A District 1 Tournament. Kory Longaker added three hits and three RBI for the Thunderbirds, who advance to play Glacier Peak on Tuesday at Meridian Park Fields at 7 p.m. The Chargers travel to Stanwood to face the Spartans in a loser-out contest Tuesday at 4 p.m.
