MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Mountlake Terrace trailed by a point at the half but out-scored Shorewood in each of the final two periods to post a 54-44 win in a Wesco 3A boys basketball game Tuesday.
“We made some shots and rebounded better (in the second half),” said Terrace assistant coach Greg Wirtz.
Terrace remained unbeaten while handing Shorewood its first defeat.
The Hawks’ Ryan Shannon had a double-double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. Marquis Armstead led Terrace with 16 points.
Shorewood’s Ben Andrews led all scorers with 17 points.
