EDMONDS — Desmond Young ran for 222 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries to lead the Warriors to a Wesco South win and a berth in the 4A Quad-District playoffs. It was a complete effort on both sides of the ball for Edmonds-Woodway. Led by Young and Zack Berg’s nine carries for 56 yards and two touchdowns, E-W’s offense churned out 401 rushing yards while the Warriors defense held Cascade to just 168 total yards while forcing four turnovers. Defensive back Matt Cuzzetto led the E-W defense with two of the team’s three interceptions.
