PREP ROUNDUP

EVERETT — Kamiak sophomore Gage Donovan won three individual events and was a member of the winning 4×100 relay team on Thursday, helping the Knights earn a narrow two and a half-point victory over Stanwood in boys track.

Donovan won the 100m, long jump, and triple jump.

“He did a pretty good job, he’s been jumping well so far,” Kamiak coach Paul Kirkpatrick said.

Corinne Teichgrab had a nice outing for the Stanwood girls. Teichgrab earned victories in the 100, 400, and was a part of the winning 4×200 team.

Kirkpatrick said all of the athletes struggled through a tough day thanks to Mother Nature.

“It was miserable conditions out there for a lot of the races,” he said.
