Here are the prep stars of the night for Saturday, April 20:
Caden Lockhart, Everett baseball
Lockhart, a junior, went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple, six RBI and four runs scored in the Seagulls’ 15-2 five-inning win over Marysville Getchell. Lockhart also picked up the win on the mound while tossing a complete game.
Ethan Willems, Glacier Peak boys track and field
Willems, a junior, won the 400 meters at the 31st annual Larry Eason Invitational with a time of 48.51 seconds, over a second faster than his nearest competitor. He also took second in the 200 meters with a time of 22.22.
Brooke Wallace, Glacier Peak girls track and field
Wallace, senior, took home first place in the 3200 meters at the 31st annual Larry Eason Invitational with a time of 10:58.34. She also helped the Grizzlies’ distance medley relay team to a first-place finish.
Samuel Van Peursem, Cedar Park Christian boys track and feild
Van Peursem, a senior, won the shot put with a throw of 61 feet, 0.5 inches and the discus with 171-07 mark at the 31st annual Larry Eason Invitational.
