KENT — Jacob Wright and Gage Goncalves scored back-to-back goals midway through the third period as the Everett Silvertips rallied from a one-goal deficit to beat the Seattle Thunderbirds 5-3 on Friday evening at the ShoWare Center.
Goncalves’ goal was his second of the game and Cole Fonstad also scored twice to give each player a team-leading 10 goals on the season.
Dustin Wolf stopped 34 of 37 shots as Everett (10-3-0-0) snapped a short two-game losing skid and became the first team in the U.S. Division with 10 wins on the season.
Jared Davidson scored twice and Jackson Berry stopped 31 of 35 shots for the Thunderbirds (7-6-0-0).
