Apply: Help from youth leaders
Participants in Leadership Snohomish County’s Signature Leadership class and its Young Leaders Challenge are looking to help on projects.
Non-profit organizations with a community project or event can go to www.leadershipsc.org to download an application form.
The project or event must serve residents or communities within Snohomish County. Organizations must have nonprofit status to apply. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Aug. 20.
An one-hour orientation session is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. July 18 at United Way of Snohomish County, 3120 McDougall Ave., Everett.
All local nonprofits are welcome.
Donate: Volunteer, bring yarn
The Binky Patrol, a group of quilters, knitters and crocheters who make binkies for children in traumatic situations, is looking for volunteers and donations of fabric, yarn or thread.
Meetings are on the first Sunday of each month in Marysville.

Eat: Everett eatery to help shelter
The Shawn O’Donnell’s American Grill and Irish Pub is helping the Family Shelter in Everett by donating 20 percent of all sales from 5 p.m. to closing time Wednesday.
A raffle and a silent auction are planned for the evening.
The restaurant is located at 122 128th St. SE in Everett.

Help: volunteer with Kid’s Kloset
Arlington Kids’ Kloset is looking for volunteers to work weekly, three-hour shifts helping needy families shop for school clothing. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to noon and 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays, 9 a.m. to noon and 4 to 8 p.m. Thursdays. Donations of gently used clothing and books also are needed.

Help: Hospice volunteers needed
Hospice &Home Care of Snohomish County is looking for volunteers to help in a multitude of ways, which could include visiting patients, delivering supplies, working in the office and helping with events. Information sessions are held on the third Wednesday of each month.

Knit: Help homeless children
Knitting to Make a Difference is accepting people from all skills levels to make blankets, hats and scarves for babies and homeless children.
The group meets from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Mondays at the Lynnwood Senior Center, 19000 44th Ave. W. Needles and yarn provided.
The fee is $5.

Drive: Volunteer to deliver meals
The Meals on Wheels program of Island County Senior Services is in need of drivers.
The group delivers meals to home-bound seniors on Camano Island.
The program operates from Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, from about 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Drivers choose what days work best for them.
