The Washington State Federation of Garden Clubs’ annual Flower show, Winter Dreaming, continues today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Holiday Inn at 3105 Pine Street in Everett. Tickets are $10 at the door; children under age 12 may come in free with adults.
The annual flower show is the largest of its kind in the state. One hundred six garden clubs in Washington State work together to put it on, including eight clubs from our area.
The local clubs are the Alderwood Garden Club, Arlington Garden Club, Edmonds Floretum Garden Club, Everett Garden Club, Green Thumb Garden Club (centered in the Martha Lake area), Mountlake Terrace Garden club, Mukilteo Way Garden Club, and South Whidbey Garden Club.
Several members of these clubs will be participating in the show with floral designs, horticulture entries, and educational exhibits.
The public is invited to view the show, and information on these local garden clubs for prospective members will be available.
