VANCOUVER, Wash. — A Camas man who was struck when he was trying to be a good Samaritan and help at an Interstate 205 crash has died of his injuries.
The Columbian reported 63-year-old Richard Irvine of Camas had been hospitalized and in hospice care following the Dec. 7 crash. His family says he died Friday.
Officials say Irvine had stopped to help the injured victim of a hit-and-run wreck when another vehicle hit the car pushing it into him.
