Farm fest this weekend
The Sky Valley Farm Festival is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
During the free event, people can learn how food is produced and tour farms along Fern Bluff Road between Sultan and Monroe.
Parking is at the Groenevelds Dairy, 29524 Fern Bluff Road. Tractor pulled wagons will pick people up and take them to the other farms for demonstrations and activities.

Mill Creek’s big sale: Folk in Mill Creek are fixing to offer deals on Saturday. The twice-a-year community garage sale will take place in 21 neighborhoods around the golf course.
Bargain hunters can find high-end items for a steal. Those who start early, at around 7 a.m., are likely to score the best wares.
The daylong event is not advertised and there isn’t an official organizer.
Art sale Saturday: The 12th annual Previously Loved Art Sale is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 3 at ArtWorks, 200 Dayton St. in downtown Edmonds.
The event offers an opportunity to find paintings, drawings, sculpture, art posters, crafts, art books and periodicals and art supplies. ArtWorks is a gathering place for artists offering classes, workshops and exhibit space and is supported by the Edmonds Arts Festival and the Edmonds Arts Festival Foundation.
