LAKEVIEW, Idaho — A Medical Lake couple sustained injuries when their utility task vehicle went off a trail and down an embankment in northern Idaho.
Authorities told The Coeur d’Alene Press that a man in his 50s was ejected when the vehicle tumbled about 40 feet down an embankment Saturday.
Bonner County Emergency Medical Services spokesman Bob Abbott says the driver’s wife also fell out of the vehicle at some point.
She refused treatment at the scene but her husband was flown to Kootenai Health in Coeur d’Alene with nonlife-threatening injuries.
