Volunteers sought
The Evergreen State Fair Advisory Board is looking for volunteers to represent Snohomish County District 2, which includes the cities of Everett and Mukilteo and a large part of the Tulalip Indian Reservation. The board helps manage the largest publicly owned fair in the Pacific Northwest. Members meet monthly and more often during the fair. Those interested in volunteering can call Fairgrounds Manager Hal Gausman at 360-805-6700 or email hal.gausman@snoco.org.
Critical areas meeting: The Edmonds City Council will hold a public hearing on updating critical area regulations at 7 p.m. Oct. 6 in the City Council chambers, 250 5th Ave. N.
