LYNNWOOD — Police in Lynnwood are investigating reports of a Thursday night drive-by shooting.
Two teens were walking near 44th Avenue W. and 168th Street SW around 9:20 p.m. when they reported being shot at from a passing vehicle, Lynnwood police Sgt. Sean Doty said.
Up to six shots were fired, but accounts varied on the actual number.
Neither boy was hit. A home nearby received minor property damage from a bullet.
No one was injured.
There was little information available about the vehicle, other than it was a dark color.
The incident may have stemmed from an earlier confrontation between the two teens and another group at a nearby convenience store earlier in the evening.
