Regina schools Everett on the fine art of the power play
EVERETT — The Everett Silvertips were taught a lesson on how to run a power play Friday night.

The Regina Pats power play treated Everett’s penalty killers as if they were intangible, passing their way around, between and seemingly through the Tips on their way to a 4-2 victory at Comcast Arena.

Jordan Eberle scored an empty-net goal to complete his hat trick as Regina finished 3-for-5 on the power play. Each of the three power-play goals came within 25 seconds of the power play’s start.
