The Everett office of Moss Adams LLP announced the following promotions: senior to manager: Jeff Gay and Melisa Nelson; staff to senior: Jennifer Chu, Shane Hunt, Anthony Porter, Brian Short and Erika Skouras.

Wilma Myren has been promoted to mortgage lending manager at Horizon Bank. She has more than 24 years of banking and lending experience, with specific expertise in the areas of loan system administration, mortgage operations and regulatory lending compliance.

Two senior executives at the Snohomish County PUD have been elected to advisory roles to help shape policies for national energy organizations. Craig Smith, assistant general manager of customer and corporate services, has been elected to a program advisory committee for the Consortium for Energy Efficiency. Jessica Matlock, government relations director, will serve on an advisory board for the National Hydropower Association.

Terry McTigue has joined Horizon Bank as vice president and private banking officer. She has 35 years’ experience in banking and has a Series 7 and 66 Securities License as well as a Life and Disability Insurance License. She is active with the Stanwood-Camano Island Rotary and the Stanwood Chamber of Commerce.

The Washington Airport Management Association’s 2009 Internship Grant has been awarded to Samantha Door, an intern at Harvey Field in Snohomish. She’s working on a bachelor’s degree in aviation management from Central Washington University.

Events

Cascade Financial Corp., parent company of Cascade Bank, announced that Cascade’s management team is scheduled to present at the Keefe, Bruyette &Woods 2009 Community Bank Conference in New York this week. Carol Nelson, Cascade’s president and CEO, and Rob Disotell, executive vice president and chief credit officer, are scheduled to present at 7 a.m. Wednesday. Good Deeds

Peoples Bank employees planted 924 trees in the bank’s 1,000 Tree Challenge and partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation. In the program, a tree was planted for every customer who signed up for electronic statements.
