Another Qantas jet – a Boeing 737 – was forced to make an emergency landing today after the wheel bay door didn’t close properly, AFP reports.
The jet, bound for Melborne, Australia, returned to Adelaide airport shortly after take off.
This is the second emergency landing that Qantas has made in a week.
The airline is investigating a giant hole in one of its 747 jets. The carrier thinks that an oxygen tank may have exploded in flight last week, which caused Qantas to make an emergency landing in Manila, reports the Associated Press.
