Afro-Cuban All Stars: Hear the many sounds of Cuba by the multi-generational touring band at 7:30 p.m. April 26 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. The band, known for their 1997 album “A Toda Cuba le Gusta” performs a mix of styles including bolero, chachacha, salsa, son montuno and timba. Tickets start at $24. Call 425-275-9595. Jefferson Starship: The rock band once known as Jefferson Airplane will perform their greatest hits, including “White Rabbit,” “Somebody to Love,” “Volunteers” and (infamously) “We Built This City,” at 7 p.m. April 27 at the Historic Everett Theater, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Leroy Bell and His Only Friends: The Pacific Northwest singer-songwriter will perform with his band at 7:30 p.m. April 27 at the Marysville Opera House, 1225 Third St., Marysville. Port Gardner Bay Music Society: The “Enchanting Lute Songs” concert is at 3 p.m. April 28 at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 215 Mukilteo Blvd., Everett. Linda Tsatsanis, soprano, and Kevin Payne, on the lute, are the featured soloists. The concert is the seventh and final series concert of the season. David Roth: The award-winning singer-songwriter is performing at 4 p.m. April 28 at Thumbnail Theater, 1211 Fourth St., Snohomish. Alan Doyle: The Canadian musician and actor is best known as the lead singer of the folk rock band Great Big Sea. Doyle, on tour with his third solo album, “A Week at the Warehouse,” will perform 7:30 p.m. May 3 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Tickets are $19-$49. Art Alexakis: The singer-songwriter and guitarist of Everclear plays at 8 p.m. May 3 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. He’ll be joined by guitarist John Wozniak from Marcy Playground, vocalist and bassist Max Collins of Eve 6 and singer-songwriter Chris Collingwood from Fountains of Wayne. Tickets start at $50. Arlington High School jazz bands: The 26th annual “Swing into Spring Dessert Dance” is at 7 p.m. May 3 and 4 in the high school’s commons, 18821 Crown Ridge Blvd., Arlington. The On Hold and Jazz II bands, directed by John Grabowski, will perform the works of Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Glen Miller and other jazz favorites. Tickets are $15.50. Music in the Museum: The “Beethoven and Debussy” concert is at 6 p.m. May 4 at Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Ave. S., Edmonds. Violinist Pamela Liu and pianist Harumi Makiyama will perform the works of “Violin Sonata No. 5 in F Major” by Ludwig van Beethoven, “Violin Sonata in G minor” by Claude Debussy and “West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein. Halden Toy: The pipe organist’s free concert is at 6 p.m. May 5 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 2531 Hoyt Ave., Everett. Toy will performs the works of famed composers, including Johann Bach, Max Reger and César Franck. Everett Philharmonic Orchestra: The “Listener’s Choice” concert will be performed at 3 p.m. May 5 at the Everett Civic Auditorium, 2415 Colby Ave., Everett. The program includes Richard Wagner’s Overture to Rienzi and Tristan and Isolde: Prelude & Liebestod. Mezzo-soprano Melissa Plagemann is the featured soloist. Edmonds Jazz Connection: The 19th annual event will feature big bands, chorals and instrumental combos from local middle and high schools from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 18 in Edmonds. The jazz musical festival, which also serves as a fundraiser for school music programs, will be held at three venues: North Sound Center, Edmonds Theater and the Edmonds Center for the Arts.
