ShockStock 2019: Geoffrey Castle, Nick Mardon and Nikki Dee will perform 7 p.m. May 31 at the Historic Everett Theatre, 2911 Colby Ave., Everett. Castle is known for his six-string electric violin; Mardon is a singer-songwriter who leads the Nick Mardon Blues Trio; Dee won the 2017 Vocal Jazz Queen Competition in Seattle. Pacifica Chamber Orchestra: The Everett orchestra’s summer concert is 3 p.m. June 2 at First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. The program will include Ludwig van Beethoven’s “Wind Quintet in E Flat Major, Op. 71,” “Impromptu for Strings” by Jean Sibelius and “Verklarte Nacht” by Arnold Schoenberg. Common Ground: The male vocal quintet’s “Sing for Joy” fundraiser concert is 3 p.m. June 2 at Snohomish United Methodist Church, 6202 99th Ave. SE, Snohomish. Directed by Patrick Castro, the group performs sacred, secular, doo-wop and country songs. Featuring guest singers Jacob Herbert and Jaci Cummings. Donations will go toward the Patrick Castro Excellence in Vocal Music Scholarship.

Music City Strings: The touring youth string ensemble performs 7 p.m. June 6 at the Everett Performing Arts Center, 2710 Wetmore Ave., Everett. The Nashville-based ensemble will perform songs ranging from the “Game of Thrones” soundtrack to Beatles hits. They’ll be joined by student musicians from the Gene Nastri Community School of the Arts. Suggested donation is $10. More at www.musiccitystrings.com.

Sno-King Community Chorale: “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” concert is at 3 p.m. June 8 at the Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave., N., Edmonds. Music in the Museum: The “Romantic Classical” concert is at 6 p.m. June 9 at Cascadia Art Museum, 190 Sunset Ave. S., Edmonds. The program will include Robert Schumann’s “Fantasiestucke, op. 73,” “Brilliant Fantasies on Themes” by Franz Schubert, “Op. 339 No. 1” by Carl Czerny and “Schilflieder: Five Fantasy Pieces, Op. 28” by August Klughardt. Mark Farner plays rock, hard rock and contemporary Christian music. He will be joined on stage by Peter Rivera, who was the drummer and lead singer for Rare Earth. Tickets start at $50.
