Yoga for a healthy mind and body, Mondays and Wednesdays, 4 p.m. Jan. 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26; $12 per class. First class is free.

Drop-in grief support group, 2:30 to 4 p.m. first and third Tuesdays of each month. This year-round group does not require registration. You may attend as often as you find it helpful.

Childbirth center tour and tea, 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 11, 10 a.m. Jan. 15 and 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Jan. 26. Learn about the nursing expertise at the childbirth center, the infant security system and childbirth options. Tour the family-centered private birthing suites, which include private whirlpool baths. Refreshments served. Registration required.

Early days of grief support group, 6:30 to 8 p.m. second Wednesday of every month. This group is for people who are in the first year of mourning the death of a loved one.

Preoperative joint class, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. second and fourth Fridays of every month. Knee or hip joint surgery patients and loved ones learn what to expect before, during and after surgery. Advanced registration is required.

Newborn preparation, 9 a.m. Jan. 16; $85 per couple. This efficient six-hour course combines the newborn care class and breastfeeding class content.

AARP driving, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 17 and Jan. 18; $12 with AARP card, otherwise $14. This eight-hour course is designed to help older people improve their driving skills. Certificates of completion qualify drivers age 55 and older for insurance discounts. Participants must attend both sessions to receive certification.

Pre-diabetes, glucose intolerance, metabolic syndrome, 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 19; $30. This class focuses on people with pre-diabetes and those who are at risk for developing diabetes, by highlighting the importance of lowering blood sugar through lifestyle changes.

P.S. parent support group, 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 19. This drop-in support group is for parents who have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth or infant loss.
