Medieval faire, wedding expo among this weekend’s best bets

Here comes the bride: Get the latest tips and trends in fashion, find a perfect honeymoon destination and connect with local wedding pros at the Everett-Lynnwood Wedding Expo this weekend at the Hansen Conference Center next to Xfinity Arena in Everett. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $15, with special 3-for-the-price-of-2 deals available online. Learn more in the HeraldNet Calendar.

Battle stories: Across Paine Field at the Historic Flight Foundation, a series of presentations will commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain. Hear stories about the epic World War II battle and see military re-enactors in authentic dress. More details in our calendar.
