Kamiak Jazz Band: The band plays the swing-era hits for a dance at 7 p.m. Jan. 30 at Rosehill Community Center, 304 Lincoln Ave., Mukilteo. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or online at www.kamiakarts.org.

Magical History Tour Concert: South End String Band plays a show to benefit the Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center, 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at the “Floyd,” 27130 102nd Ave. NW, Stanwood. Purveyors of old time fiddle music and dubious historical commentary, the band is sure to play some dance music. Come prepared. Finger food and appetizers served. Libations available for purchase. Everett Philharmonic Orchestra: “That Magnificent Mozart” concert program features Mozart’s Symphony No. 39 at 3 p.m. Feb. 8, First Presbyterian Church, 2936 Rockefeller Ave., Everett. Oboist Shannon Spicciati, who teaches at the University of Washington and Pacific Lutheran University, will perform Mozart’s Concerto for Oboe in C Major. Mozart’s Overture to the “Magic Flute” opens the program. Tickets, available online at www.everettphil.org, are $25 general admission or $20 for students and seniors. Festival seating.
