Foggy Noggin Brewing is ringing in five years in style.

The Bothell brewery will host events each week and release a number of special beers in the month of March. One of those beers is an imperial version of its 2015 Anniversary Ale (nicknamed Fn5), which will be pouring in four different variations: dry hopped, oak aged, Lagavulin oak aged and Warre’s Port oak aged. Foggy Noggin will sell spots for those tastings.

Here’s a look at the anniversary schedule:

March 7: Big Rufus, an Imperial English IPA, on tap. March 13: A vertical tasting of five years of FN Anniversary Ale from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for just 20 spots. March 14: Rare keg of Twice Kastrated Dawg, an Imperial English Strong Ale, aged in a Woodinville Whiskey Barrels on tap. March 20: A vertical tasting of five versions of Fn5. Tickets are $30 and must be paid in tasting room either March 7 or 14. March 21: Bottle release of 2015 Anniversary Ale and pouring rare beers. March 28: Foggy Noggin’s 1,000th brew, Batch 1,000, a Russian Imperial Stout, on tap. Brewed with rye malt, oats and Domincan Republic cocoa nibs, Batch 1,000 started with an Original Gravity of 1.100 and ended up at 11.6-percent ABV.

The Foggy Noggin tasting room is open noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays.

DK20 in bottles

Diamond Knot’s 20th Anniversary Ale, which was unveiled this past summer, is finally being bottled. The beer, which is a hybrid of DK’s Shipwreck XXXIPA and the 666 Ale, is a big beer, measuring in at 8.3-percent ABV and 67 IBUs. Purchase it at Diamond Knot locations or at specialty bottle shops starting March 20.
