If you’re dreaming of a fall getaway in the San Juan Islands, you might want to consider Lopez Island next weekend.
On Sept. 17, you can get up close and personal with the Lopez lifestyle by taking the self-guided Lopez Island Home Tour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets, which include admission to the tour, a reception and auction, are $30 and can be purchased at the Islehaven Books, Paper Scissors on the Rock, the Lopez Island Farmers Market and the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts, 204 Village Road.
Boxed lunches will be available for $5 at the center until noon on the day of the tour.
Seven homes designed by homeowners, builders and local and nationally known architects will be featured as part of the eighth-annual event.
Homes will showcase waterfront vistas, rolling hay fields and dramatic bluff views.
Proceeds benefit programs at the Lopez Center for Community and the Arts.
