Hope Within Luncheon: Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County’s 13th annual Hope Within Luncheon is at noon Oct. 4 at the Angel of the Winds Arena-Hansen Conference Center, 2000 Hewitt Ave, Everett. The keynote speaker is Jackson Katz, whose Mentors in Violence Prevention program is followed by the U.S. military and various sporting organizations. Farm to Table: Kristoferson Farm is hosting its last dinner for the year at 6 p.m. Oct. 20 at its century-old barn, 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island. Jump Up!: Sound Salmon Solutions’ third annual salmon dinner and fundraiser is at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 25 at Edmonds Center for the Arts, 410 Fourth Ave. N., Edmonds. Northwest-inspired cuisine will be prepared by Shooby Doo Catering. Proceeds go toward salmon habitat recovery, education and stewardship, as well as the Willow Creek Salmon and Watershed Education Center (formerly the Willow Creek Salmon Hatchery). Camano Island Chili & Chowder Cook-Off: The event is 3 to 7 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Camano Center, 606 Arrowhead Road, Camano Island. Professional and amateur chefs vie for top honors in three categories: best chili, best chowder and best-decorated booth. Live music, raffles, beer and wine. Tickets are $10. Happy Hour on the Strato Deck: Every Friday through September from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Future of Flight, 8415 Paine Field Blvd., Mukilteo; 425-438-8100; www.futureofflight.org. Beer, wine and bites from Red Cork Bistro & Catering are available for purchase. Also: Sports on the big screens, music in the background and maybe even an airplane taking off or landing at Paine Field.

Food Truck Fridays: Food trucks will be set up at the Port of Everett Marina on Fridays through September. Find them in the South Marina parking lot between Port Gardner Landing and Marina Village at 1205 Craftsman Way, Suite 200, Everett.
