SEATTLE— Seattle police say five people were sent to the hospital after an early morning shooting in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood.
KING-TV reported that the shooting happened outside a QFC grocery store around 1 a.m. Several windows of the store and nearby cars were hit by bullets.
Fire officials say all people taken to the hospital had minor injuries— four with gunshot wounds and who had been hit by a piece of broken glass.
KOMO-TV reported witnesses told police there was an argument between a group of people before shots were fired. Gang Unit detectives are involved in the investigation.
