EVERETT — A man killed in a Sunday night car crash on I-5 has been identified.
Christopher Peterson, 39, of Arlington, was driving south around 9 p.m. in a Toyota Echo when he hit a guardrail near milepost 187, causing his car to flip onto its roof.
He was found dead at the scene. An autopsy showed the cause of death was blunt-force injuries, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Tuesday.
A passenger, a 28-year-old Everett woman, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center in Everett.
