MARYSVILLE — An apparent road-rage shooting in Marysville last week remains under investigation.
“Search warrants are pending,” Marysville police Cmdr. Mark Thomas said.
No one was injured in the April 7 gunfire. For several days, Marysville police declined to say what had happened other than an arrest was made.
The confrontation started between people in two cars on Highway 9 outside the city limits, Thomas said. As they headed into the city, the suspect, a 39-year-old Marysville man, reportedly fired three to four shots at the other car.
The other driver also was from Marysville. The arrest was made at Quinn Avenue and Seventh Street.
The suspect was booked and later released on $20,000 bail pending charges, according to jail records.
